The River Tay salmon fishing season runs from the 15th of January to the 15th of October. The River Dee salmon fishing season runs from the 1st of February to the 30th of September (with some of the lower river salmon beats remaining open until the 15th of October). The River Spey salmon fishing season runs from the 11th of February to the 30th of September and the River Tweed salmon fishing season runs from the 1st of February to the 30th of November.
