Catching The Perfect Salmon

The River Tay is a fairly unique Scottish salmon river for many reasons however from a water level point of view the Tay's huge headwater loch fed nature provides consistently good water levels which encourages fresh salmon into the river on a daily basis. This perfect River Tay salmon was one such example of a salmon that had run upstream 20 miles before introducing itself to my salmon fly.
